Kenichiro Watanabe

Senior Commercial Analyst

Ken joined SEEL in 2024, bringing extensive experience in the North Sea, Middle East, and Japanese markets. He oversees the commercial, financial, and legal aspects of projects within the SEEL team.

 

After completing his master's degree in engineering, Ken joined Sumitomo Corporation in 2019, where he has primarily been involved in the oil & gas sector and decarbonization business areas.

From 2022 to 2024, Ken was stationed in Dubai, where he focused on business development for decarbonization initiatives, including hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, low-carbon fuel bunkering, SAF, and CCUS. In his current role, Ken is dedicated to expanding SEEL's portfolio in the Energy Transition space.
